WAAROM VOOR ONS KIEZEN?

INNOVATIE

In de meeste gevallen produceren we een compleet nieuwe stuurkolom met geïntegreerde elektrische stuurbekrachtiging. Het systeem is snelheidsafhankelijk. Dat betekent maximale stuurbekrachtiging tijdens parkeren of manoeuvreren en geleidelijk minder bekrachtiging op hogere snelheden.

VEILIGHEID

De stuurbekrachtiging werkt geruisloos en is volledig onderhoudsvrij. Onze systemen zijn goedgekeurd door de Duitse TÜV Rheinland, een teken van productkwaliteit en veiligheid. In het onwaarschijnlijke geval van een elektrische storing zal de originele besturing blijven functioneren.

ORIGINALITEIT

Esthetisch gezien verandert uw auto niet, aangezien het stuurbekrachtigingssysteem compleet verborgen is onder het dashboard, gemonteerd is op de originele bevestigingspunten en geen veranderingen onder de motorkap vereist. Het blijft hierdoor ook mogelijk de auto terug te brengen naar de originele staat.

I am the proud owner of a 1977 Fiat 124 Pininfarina Spider. This car is fun to drive, with the exception of the very heavy steering, which makes parking and maneuvering in narrow places very hard work. I searched the Internet and, low and behold, I found a firm in Holland. After the kit was installed, I got into the car and did a few three-point turns in the driveway and was most impressed with lightness of the steering. Wondering how the car would behave on the open road, I went out for a drive around the local lanes. I was delighted to find that the steering was progressive and not over-light as I had at first suspected. The steering unit itself is tucked away under the instrument panel so that the original appearance of the vehicle is not altered. I purchased a power steering unit in 2017 for my Tarmac rally Datsun 240Z. The kit was easy to install, and the plug and play wiring made it easy to power the unit up. Because of the power assist we are able to run a fairly aggressive wheel alignment on the car without the steering becoming too heavy, a secondary benefit was the power steering greatly reduced the high speed bump steer, which the 240Z is prone to. And with the addition of the speed sensing feature you still get good feedback from the steering when you need it. Many thanks for your help with the steering, I can’t tell how pleased I am with the end results. It’s made a different car out of it. The best way I can say it, If MG CAR Co had made the same modifications to the MGC model, that I have, they would have wiped the floor with Austin Healey. Even my wife found it so easy to steer the car, she thinks she’s now going to get to drive it, which may not be the best review I could leave for your future customers. Lol……
